Pineapple and Peach Swirls


Dive into an exotic sweetness of pineapple and peach swirls

Ingredients:
- 500g All purpose flour 
- 1 Can of Pineapple 
- 2 Cans of Peaches
- 30g fresh yeast or 15g instant yeast 
- 250ml milk
- 50g sugar 
- 1 egg
- 80g butter 
- pinch of salt 
Additional:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon of milk
- Icing sugar for decoration 

Recipe:
1. Warm up the milk, add 1 teaspoon of sugar, crumbled yeast, about 4 tablespoons of flour and mix all together. Cover and leave it somewhere warm for about 10-15 minutes to let it grow.
2. In a bowl, add the rest of the flour, sugar, egg, salt, soft butter and the yeast mixture. Kneed the dough for about 10 minutes.
3. Cover the dough and leave it for about 45-60 minutes to let it double in size.
4. To prepare the filling, cut pineapple and peaches into small chunks, add a teaspoon of sugar. I have used the ones in the can to get the juice from the fruits for the roll.
5. After the dough has grown, sprinkle the surface with a bit of flour and roll out the dough flat. 
6. Spread the pineapple and peaches all over the dough, start rolling it tightly so it becomes a roll. Cut it into 12 pieces.
7. Place the swirls on non-stick parchment paper in a tin. Mix egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of milk, brush the swirls with this mixture.
8. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check from time to time if the dough is done.
